A Speed Spike, also known as a Gill-Needle is used to thread fish onto your float line it is used at the divers end of rig ropes & attaches to the speargun shark clip. It is a fast, easy ways of stringing your fish. Once you have removed the fish from your spear simply feed the speed spike in through the gills, out the mouth, reconnect your speargun and swim forward, as you swim the fish will slide along the line to your float.
